I really don't have much to say, aside from him being really adorable. I probably shouldn't say such things, since he has a growth hormone deficiency. But look at him! He's famous for being one of the best footballers out there, though he went scoreless at the World Cup. Why? Here's why:
Opposing teams often "mark" the best player by focusing more effort on him, so he can't get a clear shot. When Argentina played worse teams this meant that other players like Higuain, had free reign over the pitch. But when Germany faced Argentina, they still marked him, but through superior tactics were still able to contain the ball. Regardless, Messi assisted in many of the goals Argentina made and is a member of a list of other great footballers who didn't score.
His fame is quite great, as he was the face of many commercials, and even made an appearance in Shakira's new video:
I dig this song, its catchy and isn't as annoying as "Hips Don't Lie." I hate that high pitched crap, gives such a headache
